Since there are 4 recordings of Orff's Antigonae available, my personal favorite is Wolfgang Sawallisch's live recording from 1958. It is not only vividly realistic on every level, but when compared to Leitner's it is almost a completely different piece of music! I decided to post Leitner's recording because Orff was in the studio during its making, it is the only studio recording with beautifully recorded sound...and of its extreme rarity!
